1. Information collected
This app does not keep data only on this device. After sign-in, the following is stored in the cloud:
- Account: email, password (stored encrypted)
- Profile: display name, a value so only one device stays signed in
- Settlements: gatherings, members, expense items and amounts, invite emails and codes
- Bank accounts: alias, holder, account number if the user enters them
- Sign-in stay: login info the browser remembers for a while
No ads.
2. Purposes
Sign-in, splitting costs, invites, attaching a saved account, single-device sign-in, support.
3. Processors
Accounts and settlement data are entrusted to cloud servers. Settlement and account details are not used for advertising.
4. Retention and deletion
Kept while the account is used. Individual accounts and gatherings can be deleted in the app. Email to delete the entire user account.
5. Children
Bank details of children under 14 are not collected knowingly. Use by ages 14 and up is recommended.
6. Security
Connections are encrypted. Account numbers can be sensitive; avoid shared devices.
