1. Information collected
The following may be stored only on this device:
- Titles, addresses, notes, folder names
- Favorites, recents, and settings
- Photos the user selects (to read text or save to the album)
No name, email, phone, location, or account is collected.
2. Purposes
Organizing and searching scraps, reading text from photos, opening saved pages, and backup and restore on this device (from a file the user saves).
3. Advertising
Google ads may appear on the home screen and when leaving the app. Google may process an advertising identifier, network address, and ad taps or views. See Googleās Privacy Policy. Scrap content is not sent out for ads.
4. Transfers
Scraps are not sent to the operatorās servers or to external AI. Text is read on this device only. Opening a saved address contacts that website.
5. Permissions
- Internet: opening saved addresses, ads
- Camera/photos: reading text, saving to the album when the user chooses
6. Retention
Data stays in the appās storage on this device. Uninstalling the app or deleting items removes it. Backup files created in the menu stay on the userās device and are not sent to the operatorās servers.
7. Children
Not limited to a specific age. No knowing collection of childrenās personal information.
