Terms of Service (STAIR KING)

These Terms govern the stair climbing game STAIR KING (the "Service"), provided by individual developer John.k (the "Operator").

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, duties, and responsibilities between the Operator and users.

Article 2 (The Service)

  1. Play starts right away. There is no sign-up and no sign-in.
  2. The game offers 50 stages and an endless mode.
  3. 1 VS 1 works only between two devices on the same Wi-Fi.
  4. Rights to the game software and assets belong to the Operator or the rightful owner.

Article 3 (Price and in-game items)

  1. The Service is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid items.
  2. In-game coins are earned only by playing and are data on the device. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded, exchanged for money, or transferred to another user.

Article 4 (Game data)

Progress — stars and best records per stage, coins, unlocked characters, and sound settings — is stored only on this device. It cannot be recovered after uninstalling the app or switching devices, and the Operator has no backup or restore duty.

Article 5 (1 VS 1)

Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi. Depending on the network — router settings, signal quality, and so on — finding a room or connecting may fail, and the Operator does not guarantee a successful connection.

Article 6 (User duties)

Do not manipulate records through cheats, memory editing, or macros, and do not modify the client.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Operator has no duty to restore progress lost to frame drops or crashes. Stage design and balance may change without notice.

Article 8 (Governing law)

The laws of the Republic of Korea apply. Disputes are resolved in the courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
